ROOM RATES AND TAXES
All rates are quoted in United States Dollars (USD), with the current Trinidad and Tobago Dollar (TTD) equivalent reached using a 6.8 conversion rate. The room rate includes accommodation, complimentary WiFi, complimentary breakfast, and Hotel Tax of 10%. Posted rates are subject to change without notice and peak season rates apply.

BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS
Individual bookings are confirmed with the provision of guest details and flight itinerary.
Group bookings are considered to be requests of five (5) or more rooms and include complimentary use of the conference room. Such bookings require a minimum 10% advance deposit at the time of reservation to secure the rooms, with the balance collected at check-in.

PAYMENT
Full payment for the stay is required to be made upon check-in. We accept a variety of payment methods including cash, credit or debit cards, bank transfers, and certified cheques. Any additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled before check-out. Please note that for long stays, large group bookings or peak period bookings, alternative payment terms may be required which will be communicated in advance.
CANCELLATIONS
All room reservations operate on a 7-day cancellation policy. Cancellations received up to 7 days prior to your arrival date will not incur any penalty. However, any cancellations made within this 7-day window or in the event of a no-show, a charge equivalent to one night’s stay will be applicable. To avoid penalties, we encourage guests to inform us of any changes to their plans as early as possible. Bookings made during peak season and group bookings may be subject to different terms, as outlined at the time of booking.
For group bookings, any cancellations or reductions in the number of rooms must be made no later than 30 days before the check-in date to avoid penalties. Cancellations within the 30 day period will result in a forfeit of the deposit, while room reductions made within the 30 day period will result in a charge equivalent to one night's stay per room. Rooming lists and special dietary or other requests provided in advance would be greatly appreciated. Please note that additional terms may apply depending on the size of the group, conference room requirements, or peak seasons.

OFFICE HOURS
Our office hours are between 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and we reserve the right to adjust the operating hours as needed. As we do not operate a 24-hour front desk, we kindly remind arriving guests to always provide their travel itinerary and contact details in order to best monitor and manage any potential delays.

PET POLICY
We regret that your furry companions are not allowed in the guestrooms or on the premises.

SMOKING POLICY
All guestrooms are strictly non-smoking. Should it be determined that smoking has taken place in a guestroom, a cleaning fee of $150 USD will be applied. Guests may smoke in the designated smoking areas on the property.

AGE RESTRICTIONS
Guests must reach the minimum age requirement of 18 years in order to perform a check-in. A valid government issued photo identification must be provided for age verification. All children up to age five (5) stay free of charge at the Bed and Breakfast. Please note that we do not provide rollaway beds or baby cots. Minors must be accompanied by adult at all times while on the premises.​
QUIET HOURS
Norma’s Bed and Breakfast is located in a residential area and, as such, we kindly request that you observe quiet hours from 9:00 pm to 9:00 am. To maintain a peaceful environment, the volume of voices and any electronics or other devices must be kept at a respectful level.

HOUSEKEEPING
We pride ourselves on exceptional value and cleanliness at Norma’s Bed and Breakfast. Daily housekeeping is provided, and bedsheets and towels are changed every third day of the stay unless otherwise requested.

LUGGAGE STORAGE
Complimentary luggage storage is available for guests who arrive before the room is ready, or who check-out and need a temporary solution for their luggage. Due to our limited office hours, please ensure to plan ahead and arrange the storage by at least the day before your scheduled departure.

LOST AND FOUND
Norma’s Bed and Breakfast is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest, but we will make every effort to assist guests in the recovery of their belongings. Found items will be kept for a period of 90 days, during which guests can claim their items by providing a detailed description and proof of ownership where applicable. Perishable items will be discarded after 24 hours due to health and safety reasons, and items not collected during the retention period will be disposed of. Shipping of items can be arranged at the guest’s expense and the Bed and Breakfast will not be held liable for any item lost during shipment.

ROOM OCCUPANCY AND VISITORS
The maximum room occupancy per room varies from 2 to 4 persons depending on the room type. These limitations are based on fire safety restrictions and must be adhered to. Our guestrooms are also reserved for the exclusive use of registered guests only and no unregistered guests are allowed overnight. Please ensure to notify us in if you would like to have any visitors join you for breakfast, at an additional charge.

​SECURITY
The property is equipped with 24 video surveillance to ensure the safety of all persons. Being located in a residential area, the community is guarded 24/7 by dedicated security personnel, as well as nightly patrols by security guards. Despite having no in-room safes, guests can request secure storage for valuable items at the office. While management takes necessary precautions to ensure the safety of guests and their belongings, we must remind guests that it is ultimately their responsibility to safeguard their personal possessions and remain alert.
DAMAGES POLICY
Norma’s Bed and Breakfast is not responsible for the loss or damage to a guests’ personal property or personal injury, apart from those which occur directly from gross negligence by the Bed and Breakfast.
Guests will be held financially responsible for any wilful damage to property or missing items that occurs during their stay. Should any damages be found, the cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the guest’s account.
PARKING FACILITIES
As there are limited parking spaces available on the property, guests must request a parking space in advance. These spaces are subject to availability, after which, street parking may be utilized.
POLICY CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
